“On ascent, the G forces are straight through your chest. You're lying in a chair on your back looking straight up at the sky. So the sense of acceleration is all through your, your chest. It feels like there is a large elephant sitting on your chest. Or, you know, your cat has gotten 400 pounds bigger (laugh) and is trying to wake you up in the morning. But once you get over it, zero G is so much fun and everybody is graceful. You look like a ballerina.” Pam Melroy
